When you apply, you will have the ability to select the title areas for which you want to apply and be eligible based on your residency and ultimately your score. It is most recommended to give yourself as many options as possible, as each of the titles is very competitive and the list is good for 3 years.
NOTE: Those candidates who tested for the NJDOC on April 17, 2019, MUST sit for the exam again, as the scores will NOT carry over. You MUST apply for the NJ LEE and re-test to be eligible in the LEE pool.

The civil service application period will be open and available up to August 31, 2019 at 4 p.m., so if you will be moving prior to that date, you may want to wait until you are established in the new residence to apply. Your address at the time of your application will be the specific jurisdiction in which civil service will base your eligibility during the life of the list.
