WARNING: Monmouth County Police Exam Test Dates CLOSING OUT! New Date Added – CCS Test Prep®

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Monmouth County (Non-Civil Service) Police Exam is experiencing record application submissions with the initial three testing sessions scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, 2018; Wednesday, May 16, 2018; and Thursday, May 17th, 2018, CLOSED OUT as FULL. The Monmouth County Chiefs of Police Association has added an additional date to accommodate the high demand. After closing out the initial three testing dates, the Chiefs Association added Monday, March 14th, 2018, as a test date. This date is now filling up quickly. It is evident that the application period will most likely close out soon, well in advance of the posted application deadline of April 30, 2018. The Cape May County Police Academy is currently accepting applications for the 2018 Alternate Route Basic Course for Police Officer.     Candidates interested in formal exam preparation should contact CCS Test Prep® through the following link: CCS Test Prep - Cape May County Alt Route Exam Prep. The application for the actual examination can be accessed at the following link: Cape May County Police Academy Alternate Route Exam Application 2018. TESTING ANNOUNCEMENT - Candidates who desire a career in law enforcement have a multitude of testing opportunities now and will have over 50 more as we move forward through 2018. At the time of this post, the Maplewood Township PD (Essex), Closter PD (Bergen), and Cranbury Township PD (Middlesex) are accepting or have accepted applications for open competitive testing, while the Secaucus PD (Hudson) and Princeton PD (Mercer) have announced they will be opening their application period SOON! Passaic County "Alternate Route Program" Exam Announced: The Director of the Passaic County Police Academy announced the application period for candidates wishing to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program." This is a tremendous opportunity for those who desire a career in law enforcement. The process is EXTREMELY competitive and begins with the administration of a very competitive written (scored) exam. Applications must be picked up at the police department beginning Monday, January 29th, 2018. Only the first 100 completed applications will be accepted. Delaware River and Bay Authority Entry-Level Police Officer Exam – Application Deadline is Feb. 28th, 2018

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (NJ & DE) is once again accepting online applications for the Wednesday, March 28, 2018, administration of the Entry-Level Police Officer Examination. The deadline for online applications is set for Thursday, February 28, 2018. Bergen County "Alternate Route Program" Exam Announced: The staff at the Bergen County Police Academy announced the application period for candidates wishing to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program." This is a tremendous opportunity for those who desire a career in law enforcement. The process is EXTREMELY competitive and begins with the administration of a very competitive written exam (scored) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, followed by a physical agility assessment (pass/fail) on Thursday, March 22, 2018, and an oral panel interview (scored) in late March/Early April.
