Delaware State Trooper Application and Written Exam – CCS Test Prep – May 25, 2017

Delaware State Police - Trooper Examination The Delaware State Police are currently accepting short-form applications in anticipation of an upcoming testing cycle. The written exam is actually developed by a private vendor contracted by the State of Delaware. The EB Jacobs company, as contracted by the State of Delaware, has produced the Law Enforcement Aptitude Battery (LEAB). The LEAB is a 3-part assessment consisting of 169 questions with a 2 hour and 15 minute time limit. This version of the LEAB consists of 3 distinct parts which include the following: Part 1 - Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT) consisting of 48 questions; Part 2 - Work Styles Questionnaire (WSQ) consisting of 74 trait assessment statements; and Part 3 - Life Experience Survey (LES) consisting of 47 questions. NY & NJ Port Authority Police Officer Written Exam Registration The NY/NJ Port Authority has announced their application period for the position of police officer. The online application period is set for May 22, 2017 to June 26, 2017. They are processing the applications online at: https://tara.vitapowered.com/WorkflowEngine/CustomUrl/papdexam/CreateCandidate/apply The initial cost to register as an applicant is $20. The ability to actually take the written exam will be based on random selection at some point in the future. They make it clear that not all applicants will have the opportunity to participate in the process. New York State Police Entry-Level Trooper Examination Application Period Now Open! The New York State Police have announced their 2017 exam cycle and are processing applications right now at www.nytrooper.com. The application fee is only $20 for the October 7th exam, so anyone interested should apply immediately through the NYSP website at www.nytrooper.com. They will be utilizing a new and enhanced examination which is 3 hours and 40 minutes in length involving 329 questions. The New York State Police entry-level written assessment is actually developed by a private vendor contracted by the State of New York. CCS Test Prep - The New Jersey Civil Service Commission has released the results for the Law Enforcement Entry-Level Examination (LEE). Congratulations to CCS Test Prep student as the 99's are pouring in! Individuals can check their results at this link: NJ LEE Results. This is always a very exciting time, as all of the hard work and training pays off. The waiting is over! With over 30,000 candidates testing this past cycle, only a limited number of candidates are fortunate to achieve a score of 97, 98 or 99. Law Enforcement Examination - The Monmouth County Police Chiefs Association has announced the opening of the application period for the 2017-2018 entry-level law enforcement examination for Monmouth County. This is the non-civil service testing process for those participating departments not under the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The exam is also utilized for the Monmouth County Alternate Route program. 11/10/16 - Dedicated CCS students who returned after completing the formal course to participate in one of twenty separate special 3-hour study sessions offered by Dr. Paprota. Thursday, November 10th - Since August 21st, the staff and I at Critical Concepts & Strategies (CCS Test Prep) have worked countless hours to complete 16 formal 2-day and 3-evening course offerings along with 20 additional special 3-hour study (booster) sessions. Free "Booster" Study Sessions: As an extra bonus to the CCS Test Prep students who are preparing for their upcoming entry-level law enforcement examination, I have scheduled 20 separate 3-hour special study sessions for those students who have completed the CCS two-day or three-evening paid program. Having successfully completed more than 12 separate course offerings since August, I am now transitioning to dedicating my time to the free booster sessions to ensure my students achieve maximum success. These booster sessions are not part of the paid program, as they are an extra bonus I am providing for my students. Returning students will have the opportunity to sit for a 300 item Trait Assessment and a 125 item Biodata assessment which will be Scantron scored.
