The 2019 NJ LEE will be administered throughout New Jersey this fall over a 7 week period. The single exam administration is being used to cover NJ Parole Officer Recruit testing in addition to the following titles: Municipal Police Officer County Police Officer Park Police Officer Campus Police Officer Recruit Police Officer Recruit Human Services Police Officer Palisades Interstate Park Correctional Police Officer (NJDOC) Sheriff’s Officer County Correction Officer Correctional Police Officer, Juvenile Justice Commission  In addition to the 2019 NJ LEE (Civil Service Law Enforcement Exam) being administered this fall, there are several other non-civil service police exams being administered in New Jersey. ANNOUNCEMENT (8/1/2019) - The NJ LEE test prep seminars are approaching quickly. Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. has all of the course materials ready for the quickly approaching classes which are designed to give CCS Test Prep® students every advantage. Students will attend a two-day or three-evening seminar during which every aspect of the exam will be covered. Students will take a Preliminary Diagnostic Assessment as well as a Formal Final Exam during the seminar. Both exams are Scantron™ scored, weighted, and properly scaled, so an individualized scoring report can be generated for each student for both exams to clearly identify each students personal strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, each student is provided a course binder which contains extensive instructional and practice materials for home study. Announcement (7/2/2019): The Ocean County Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ocean County Police Academy have opened the application period for the upcoming Alternate Route Program examination. The exam is specifically for candidates who wish to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program" as well as those candidates who would like to be eligible for Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO) positions in 22 participating agencies. This is a great opportunity for those who are working toward a career in law enforcement. The New Jersey Parole Officer Recruit position is one of the most competitive and sought after positions in the State of New Jersey. The Suffolk County (NY) Police Exam Application Period Extended to April 17, 2019 The Suffolk County Civil Service Commission has extended the application period for candidates to complete the online process of applying to sit for the 2019 Suffolk County Police Exam.  The Suffolk County Civil Service application period now closes on April 17, 2019 and the actual Police Officer Exam is scheduled to be administered on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Update (3/13/2019): The Recruitment personnel of the New Jersey State Police have announced that the formal online application period for the next competitive testing and selection process for NJSP Trooper candidates has been set. The application period is set to open on Monday, April 29, 2019 and close on Sunday, May 12, 2019. The process begins with the submission of the online application during the open period. Once the applications are reviewed, eligible candidates will be invited to a physical assessment (push-ups, sit-ups, and 1.5 mile run). Those who pass the physical assessment then are invited (at a later date) to sit for a full day of written testing.
