The State of Massachusetts has begun the application period for candidates to complete the online process of applying to sit for the 2024 Municipal and MBTA (state-wide) Police Exam. Candidates can apply at Exam Application Portal (Click Here). The Massachusetts application period closes on January 16, 2024 (extended to March 30, 2024 w/ late fee) and the actual Police Officer Exam is scheduled to be administered from Saturday, March 16, 2024 to March 30, 2024. Suffolk County, New York Entry-Level Police Examination Preparation EARLY COURSE REGISTRATION is NOW AVAILABLE! The Suffolk County Civil Service Commission has begun the application period for candidates to complete the online process of applying to sit for the 2019 Suffolk County Police Exam. Candidates should review the formal Announcement (Click Here) and then proceed to the Exam Application Portal (Click Here) to submit the formal application. The Suffolk County Civil Service application period closes on April 3, 2019 and the actual Police Officer Exam is scheduled to be administered on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Announcement (November 14, 2018): The NJ Transit Police Department has announced a competitive entry-level testing process. The  full announcement and the application process is available via PoliceApp.com/NJTransitPD with the application period starting on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at 9 a.m. (Only the first 1,000 applications are being accepted). The physical exam is set for the weekend of December 15th and 16th while the date for the written examination will be scheduled once the physical is completed (likely January 2019). Only those who pass the physical will be permitted to sit for the written examination.  Candidates can review the physical exam type at PT Test Info (Click Here). Candidates for NJ Transit often refer to the exam as one of the most challenging entry-level police exams being used in New Jersey.
