ANNOUNCEMENT: The Emerson Police Department (Bergen County) has announced their hiring process which includes a written examination as part of the process. The official announcement can be found at: Emerson PD (Bergen Count) Announcement. The deadline for submitting the application is once 300 applications are received or Thursday, May 3, 2018.
The educational and/or military service requirements are as follows:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in an accredited college; OR
- Possess an Associate’s degree (minimum 2 years) in an accredited college with a minimum of 2 years of military service; OR
- Have a minimum of 4 years of military service.
The written exam is currently scheduled to be administered on Sunday, May 6th, 2018.
