Law Enforcement Examination – The Monmouth County Police Chiefs Association has announced the opening of the application period for the 2018/2019 entry-level law enforcement examination for Monmouth County. This is the non-civil service testing process for those participating departments not under the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The exam is also utilized for the Monmouth County Alternate Route Program. Interested applicants can apply for this exam by going to the following link: Monmouth County Entry-Level Law Enforcement Exam. The fee being charged by the Monmouth County Chiefs Association to register for the written exam is set as $95. The application deadline is April 30th, 2018.
“Chief’s Exam” Preparation
The CCS Test Prep® program for the Monmouth County exam is scheduled with Open-Registration available for those who intend to prepare to achieve excellence on the very competitive exam!
The course schedule and design is as follows:
Initial “Kick-off” Classroom Session: Held at the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton located at 700 Hope Road in Tinton Falls, NJ on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for those candidates registered for the CCS Test Prep® Program.
The Program: From the time of the initial class to each student’s actual exam date, each student will work through a very comprehensive online program that has produced EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS beyond that of traditional in-class lectures. Each aspect of the classroom testing and the online program involve instant student scoring reports and feedback to ensure maximum understanding and progress!
Final Testing and Review Classroom Session: – Held at the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton located at 700 Hope Road in Tinton Falls, NJ on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to ensure that each CCS Test Prep® student is focused and ready to excel on the actual competitive exam!
The course fee for this comprehensive program is $425

The basic eligibility standards as listed by the Monmouth County Chiefs Association include the following requirements:
Candidates must be . . .
- between the ages of 18 and 34;
- have a valid drivers license;
- be a high school graduate;
- be a U.S. Citizen; and
- out of county applicants are eligible.
Applicants will, on a first come first serve basis, be able to select his or her written test date based on the following available dates:
- Written Testing will take place May 15th, 16th & 17th, 2018
- Only those passing the written test will move on to the Physical Assessment.
