Announcement (November 14, 2018): The NJ Transit Police Department has announced a competitive entry-level testing process. The full announcement and the application process is available via PoliceApp.com/NJTransitPD with the application period starting on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at 9 a.m. (Only the first 1,000 applications are being accepted). The physical exam is set for the weekend of December 15th and 16th while the date for the written examination will be scheduled once the physical is completed (likely January 2019). Only those who pass the physical will be permitted to sit for the written examination.
