Candidates who register for the CCS Test Prep® program will be provided every advantage possible. Our two-day or three-evening seminars are packed with focused in-class instruction, testing, and a special binder full of materials that students take home to continue their studies. Furthermore, as a critical part of the program, students sit for a short Diagnostic Exam (Day 1), and then on the last day, a longer Final Exam. Both exams are computer-scored in class and each student is provided detailed, individualized scoring reports which identify the student’s strengths and weaknesses going into their home studies. A thorough in-class review of the Final Exam is used to reinforce the strategies and to also allow each student to identify any personal deficiencies.
The EXTRA Touch Toward Perfection
Beyond the paid seminar, Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. (Ret.) is extending the extra, invaluable bonus of providing students access to the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform for the days leading up to the students actual test date and time. This is a FREE bonus that is done to ensure a high level of confidence, knowledge, and understanding going into the actual test. Students will have the opportunity to take dozens of automated short quizzes online which are instantly scored with answer guides for immediate feedback. These online quizzes and the focused reinforcement provided have proven invaluable to students. Perfection is not only possible but is expected with the CCS Test Prep® program.

New Jersey Civil Service LEE
The Civil Service Application Period
The New Jersey Civil Service Commission (NJCSC) is expected to announce the next LEE testing cycle and open the application period on Monday, July 1, 2019. New Jersey has implemented a new system for the scheduling of candidates for the exam. Once you apply with the NJCSC for the actual exam and the application period closes, you will have the opportunity to select (based on availability) a test date, time, and location from a long list of options provided through an online portal. This means that you will be able to choose a test date throughout the testing cycle that best matches up with your comfort level from the date you attend the prep program. The actual testing dates are expected to begin as early as late September and run through October into November of 2019.
Choosing a Date to Attend the Prep Course
Most candidates look for the earliest available course dates to provide more time for study before the exam. Those who attend the August or early September course dates will have the greatest advantage. I have developed a system of very focused review to take students up to the time of the their actual exam, so early prep is recommended. Likewise, candidates can choose whether they want to attend two days of prep back-to-back or choose a course option that has days or even more than a week between in-class sessions. That is a personal preference. The course offerings will close out as they fill up, so REGISTER TODAY to reserve your seat in the perfect class for you.
The NJ LEE
The LEE is a very important exam, as it includes varied law enforcement titles and has only been administered once every three years. It will likely not be administered again until late 2022 or later. The titles covered by the exam include: Municipal Police Officer, Campus Police Officer Recruit, County Police Officer, Park Police Officer, Police Officer Recruit Human Services, Police Officer Palisades Interstate Park, Sheriff’s Officer, County Correction Officer, and State Correction Officer Recruit Juvenile Justice. Well over 30,000 candidates will sit for the 2019 LEE later this year. Candidates must achieve exceptional test scores in order to be among the top candidates eligible to be considered for openings during the 3-year list. Proper preparation is critical when taking this very competitive exam!
The State of New Jersey continues to utilize EB Jacobs (PSI) as the vendor to write and administer the LEE exam. The specific exam utilized is the Law Enforcement Aptitude Battery (LEAB-II™) which is a multi-factor psychometric test that has proven to be the most comprehensive, valid, and reliable entry-level law enforcement exam available nationally. This is the exact exam which served as the basis of much of Chief Paprota’s doctoral research.
In 2016, New Jersey candidates were administered a new and expanded exam. The new exam had additional dimensions/factors and scales not utilized in the past. Proper, on point, preparation is more important than ever in the very competitive process.
