Suffolk County, New York
Entry-Level Police Examination Preparation
EARLY COURSE REGISTRATION is NOW AVAILABLE!
Early registration is now available for the CCS Test Prep® Program for the 2019 Suffolk County Police Officer Exam. Seminars have been scheduled in both a Suffolk County as well as a Nassau County location. Seating is limited and the seminars will sell out. Candidates are being provided the opportunity to register early and reserve a seat (see below).
Suffolk County Civil Service has indicated that the next entry-level examination is scheduled to be administered on Saturday, June 15, 2019. The final filing date to apply to take the exam: April 3, 2019.
The CCS Test Prep® Program consists of a two-day seminar that focuses on each aspect of the competitive exam. During the course, in addition to the in-class instruction, each student will have the opportunity to complete a Scantron scored preliminary diagnostic exam (shortened version) as well as a final exam in the course. These practice exams help identify each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Paprota has developed special software which properly weights and scores students’ responses to each exam question and section. Students will receive a comprehensive binder full of instructional material and practice questions along with an individualized scoring report to provide further guidance and direction for his or her studies.
While the course fee only covers the two-day seminar and course materials, Dr. David A. Paprota also provides courtesy access to his online learning platform during the days leading up to the actual exam date. The additional access allows students to reinforce their knowledge and prior studies by taking instantly scored practice quizzes. This is above and beyond the two-day seminar and a special free service that Dr. Paprota provides to CCS Test Prep® students.
This program and approach is very effective, as serious students can truly refine their skills and excel on the test. Passing is not good enough; it is critical to score extremely high in this very competitive process.
Early registration is available and recommended as seating is limited and these seminars will sell out early! Register NOW!
The Suffolk County Civil Service entry-level assessment is actually developed by a private vendor contracted by the County of Suffolk. The EB Jacobs company, as contracted by Suffolk County, has produced the multi-factor Law Enforcement Aptitude Battery (LEAB). The LEAB is a 3-part assessment consisting of a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT), Work Styles Questionnaire (WSQ), and a Life Experience Survey (LES). Candidates must achieve a high composite score on the examination to be included in a hiring process.
Refund Policy: Registered students are eligible for a refund of the fee for this course minus a $45 administrative fee upon submission of a formal request in writing via email to Dr. David A. Paprota at [email protected] prior to May 1, 2019. No refund will be approved as of May 1, 2019 or thereafter (NO EXCEPTIONS).
