ANNOUNCEMENT: The Providence Police Department (Rhode Island) will complete three weeks of physical assessment of candidates by April 22, 2018, and move on to the written examination on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Those candidates who performed well on the physical and are fortunate enough to progress to the written exam can prepare for the written examination with CCS Test Prep®.
The Providence Police Department has chosen to once again use the IOS NCJOSI v2 exam which has proven to be an extremely challenging exam with 40% to 60% of candidates commonly failing the exam while most others who pass achieve very low scores. It is not good enough to “pass” the exam. Candidates need to achieve excellence and can do so with proper exam preparation and hard work.
The tuition for the training program is set at $395. Interested candidates can register or obtain more information from Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. (Ret.) at: http://www.ccstest.com/providence-rhode-island-police-officer-entry-level-exam-preparation/ .
